Non-Profit

The Charles J. Connick Stained Glass Foundation

A client since 1999, the non-profit Foundation wanted a custom website to bring it into the information age. Given complete freedom in the layout, I chose a simple, classic design that has not changed much since its creation. The site has evolved and now contains a newsletter archive, virtual stained glass exhibition, map of installations, publications, links to other stained glass sites, photo galleries, a member's forum and a PHP/MySQL mailing list database is maintained through the site by Foundation staff.

Magi Mystery School

This site is home to the Magi Mystery School, the online spiritual educational site of the One Earth Church of Divine Humanity. Using Moodle as the e-learning engine, student apprentices can enroll in online courses as they progress along the various shamanic and magical paths on a journey of self-discovery and enlightenment. The One Earth Church also offers advanced students the opportunity for personal apprenticeship training and to accompany their teachers on pilgrimages to sacred places all over the world.

Fuel-Efficient Vehicles - Now!

FEV-Now.com is an advocacy for production of ultra-high mileage vehicles, in the interest of conserving natural resources, eliminating dependency on fossil fuels, and ending this country's "oil wars". The site uses a PHP-based content management system with a MySQL database, allowing members to continuously add and update content. A forum section allows members to communicate and share ideas.

More than 250 employees develop and manufacture microelectronic modules for bradycardia and tachycardia therapy devices. Sea Haven Restaurant

The Sea Haven is a successful family-style seafood restaurant located in Lindenhurst, NY. The site includes photos, hours of operation, directions, menus, specials, testimonials and a contact form.

The Good Mall

The Good Mall is a new concept in online shopping. Members receive quarterly dividends for all purchases made through the site. In addition, a percentage of the community's purchases are donated to worthy causes. Membership is free. A backend database allows members to register online and invite others. A secure administrative area provides database access.

Camstar Systems, Inc.

Camstar is the global leader in world class manufacturing solutions. Their enterprise manufacturing execution and quality systems provide the electronic control needed to help eliminate scrap, rework and paperwork errors; and the real-time feedback needed to quickly identify and resolve issues that inhibit process and product improvement. The result is more efficient operations and lower costs.

My consulting services are regularly hired out by Camstar for Designer work on MES implementation projects, as well as educational design. Project work has included clients such as BMC/Sony Ericsson, Amkor, Biotronik, Corning Life Sciences and Life Technologies.

PS Industry, Inc.

A UK-based manufacturing software company, PS required a new website for its US operation. I also converted an Excel-based manufacturing cost estimator into a format that could be used online. This was implemented using JavaScript and is still in use after six years.

Artists

Sterling Design

Metalworker and artist Bill Wentworth gets his inspiration from nature, capturing moments timelessly in stainless steel, bronze, aluminum, copper, brass and other metals. If you can think it, Sterling Design can craft it for you. The old, static site was overhauled and updated to use CSS/XHTML layouts, along with a dynamic javaScript/CSS photo gallery to add some eye-popping visual effects.

Flower Heart Productions

This writer, photographer, traveler and shaman has matched her stunning images with poignant prose on this site which displays and sells her unique greeting cards. The site is developed using CSS/XHTML layouts, with a custom catalog manager function using a PHP/MySQL backend which allows her to add, change and delete products and pricing at will. Site is integrated with Retail Cart E-Commerce module.

Dinora Felske Justice

This talented Boston-based artist required a simple but beautiful website to showcase her portfolio and maintain her contact information. The portfolio section provides an ever-expanding slideshow of her unique landscapes. "About the Artist" details her bio, selected exhibitions, awards, galleries and publications.
